Boring Life

Okay, so we are still alive in the Jones House and I am happy to report that we have no significant news to report (it has been a while since my last blog).
Most generally by the middle of January we are either scheduling a surgery for Brooklyne or she has just had a surgery. But so far (I sure hope this does not jinx us) she is healthy as a bug.
Things have been very routine for us and nothing out of the ordinary is going on. Oh I guess that I should mention that Jim pulled some of the tendons in his hand and he is in a brace for 2 weeks, he still has alot of swelling and pain so we may be looking to get a second opinion to make sure there is not more damage than the xray showed.
So i am sorry for such a boring post today, we will have some fun things coming up but until then I will just check back in periodically to let you all know we are here.

Updates, Updates and more Updates

Okay so finally, I took the time to get you caught up on our lives over the last 2 weeks.
I am still trying to get used to having my camera with me all the time and the fact that it is helpfull to take pictures so that I can keep you all updated. But hopefully in 2009 I can improve.

Christmas Day

Okay so again these pictures are way out of order. But most of you know the girls woke up Christmas morning to what they would classify as the best gift ever from Santa.
The got a Wii!!
Not only do the girls enjoy it, but so do mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, and I know even Aunt Wilma had fun on it (even though she is having trouble with her ribs).
We faithfully play the Wii every night, we are even finding ourselves having little family competitions.

Britton let out a scream, and Brooklyne was just in pure shock, she didn't know what to say.

Christmas Eve

This year we had Christmas Eve at Jim's sisters house. Like always the kids can hardly wait till supper is over so we can tear into the gifts. These pictures are out of order so I can just tell you we all enjoyed ourselves and were very thankful so spend time with each other

Christmas At Our House

This is Christmas at our house, we let the girls open their gifts before heading over to Jim's sisters house.
All I can say is Britton was less than excited about her gifts, she got all clothes. Let me add that she was in desperate need of clothes.
They got the game Operation, the above picture is Jim and the girls playing. The bottom picture is the girls right after opening it.

Britton was upset about the clothes, Brooklyne was happy!!!

Happy New Year

Okay so I am doing pretty good posting this on the first day of the New Year, considering my lack of attention to my blog. I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year, I hope you all have a prosperous, healthy and blessed New Year.

I have not been feeling the best this week, so I have not made the effort to get some Christmas pictures on here yet. I will be visiting the pharmacy at Walmart today to hopefully find something to at least make my head feel better. Things at work have been busy and by the time I get home I am ready to hit the sack. I am by no means looking for excuses but will for sure promise some updates with this blog this week.
